Exploration Targets & New Discoveries

The project’s large contiguous land package contains numerous exploration targets property wide. The project claim area is also contiguous with the Company’s Los Verdes mineral claims and the Santana gold structures drilled to date may extend into the Los Verdes area.

Recent exploration has led to a newly discovered mineralized pipe, Zata, that has all the characteristics of the Nicho and Nicho Norte deposits. Zata is located ~3 km from currently planned Santana commercial heap leach facilities and is in close proximity to an existing site road that connects the two areas.

Highlights from the new Zata zone include:

  • 66 rock samples assayed with over 50% exhibiting grades suitable for heap leaching (>0.10 g/t) and assays ranging up to 3.3 g/t gold
  • Mineralized surface exposure covers an area of approximately 400 m x 400 m
  • Mineralization appears to be contained in a topographic high allowing for potential of open pit access

Other regional exploration targets include Benjamin, Ubaldo, Tres Hermanos and La Micha. Drilling highlights on the Benjamin zone include 2.3 g/t Au & 444.0 g/t Ag over 19.8 m and 0.70 g/t Au over 93.0 m.
